We love summer because.......

.........We get to play outside! There's nothing better than being able to let kids go outside and release energy. My kids would rather be outside anyway so when the weather is nice we take advantage!

Stef is 30!

We celebrated Stef's birthday the same day as Evan's party, so we were pooped, but ready to have fun. And boy did we. Keri and Joe rode down to Sac with us and we met Stef and Mark and a few more friends for dinner. Then we went out for some fun! Stef and Mark are awesome! Happy Birthday, Stef!

Survivors!

Relay for Life was on Evan's birthday. We usually have a team, but this year, my mom and I decided not to. Maybe next year.
Although we didn't have a team we still had to go, especially for my favorite...the Survivor lap. My mom and my grandma are both breast cancer survivors so, of course, they were there! Aren't they cute?

5!!!!!

Evan turned 5 on June 13! Boy was he excited. At school he gets a special birthday crown and they get to hold the flag, Ezra even got to play the tamborine next to Evan. We have had a countdown for 4 months for Evan's birthday so I could hardly wait until it came.

Evan insisted that the house be decorated 'birthday' when he woke up so we hung streamers all throughout the house. Evan took this picture he was so excited.

My attempt at a homemade 3-tier goodie tower made out of plates and cups. Stole the idea from Martha. Hers looked better.

The slide that was such a hit, but made a lake in our backyard.

Another birthday attemp...this time Light Saber cupcakes. Didn't turn out very cute, but were tasty! Hey, at least I gave it a shot, right? I usually stay away from the oven.

The best pinata ever! This thing took such a beating and still stayed together! The thing was super strong! And for $14.50, the price is right! I will never order online again!





Evan had a good birthday, I just really can't believe he is growing up so fast.

My Pre-School graduate!

Our little Evan has graduated from pre-school! What a handsome little guy he was. The graduation was awesome. New Adventures Pre-School is the best pre-school ever....(I am a little biased...I went there too!) Evan has become so smart and has grown up to be such a sweet boy (when he wants to) and I know he will do so well in school....mostly because of the staff at NAPS!!!!! Way to go, EVAN!!!

The kids had a party for the end of the year. They had so much fun. they swam, got to ride a pony, jump on the trampoline, and ate good food!

High School Graduate!

My nephew, Andrew, graduated from High School! I really can't believe he is old enough! here are pictures of him and his mom and then Andrew with my mom and dad.

Kenny Chesney?.........

I brought guitars home for the boys and what a hit! They love them. Evan loves his so much he took it to school for "share day" along with his cowboy hat and then told everyone he was Kenny Chesney! What a funny kid.

Texas!

Went to San Antonio with a co-worker for a nursing conference for 5 days. We spent a lot of time at the Riverwalk and eating lots of good food. The people are so friendly there. I would like to go back one day with the family. Of course, the conference was great too!

Last weekend went to Santa Barbara and Hollywood with some friends to see New Kids on the Block! It was a weekend to remember! We had a lot of laughs........
