I was going through some old pictures so I thought I would share. Weren't we so cool?

Miss Janet.......

Me and some friends that I work with went to see Janet Jackson last weekend in Oakland. These are pictures of us goofing around before the concert. What a fun night! (don't I look thrilled in this picture ?)


I took my camera with me and when I took this picture it looked like it wasn't going to turn out, so I didn't take any more pictures. Looks like I should have taken more. Janet is being hidden by that person or people in yellow. I'm surprised we can't see her hair...it was up in a mowhawk, a pretty good size one. She puts on a good show, although I was kinda hoping for her brother to show up. ha

So I haven't been the best at keeping up on this whole blog thing, but I'll try to be better :) Shaun took the boys fishing at Ellis Lake last weekend so I went along and took my camera. The boys were so cute fishing. Evan was pretty good at casting and Ezra was out of control with his pole. I got knocked in the head a few times. They had a blast even though no fish were caught!

Only you can prevent forest fires.......

Looked like a trailer caught fire in the road somehow.

We were coming home from camping and saw some smoke clouds in the near distance. The closer we got, we realized that we were headed straight for a fire on the side of the road. We must have come upon it right after it started, because there was no one there guiding traffic. At one point we could feel the hot flames they were so close. After we passed the first fire on the side of the road, we passed through another one a little ways up. Talk about excitement. We were driving through some really thick smoke. Yuck!
